Surfaces for Envicoat®
The Envicoat® formulation is a blend of synthetic polymers that is designed to alter the properties of glass and similar non-porous surfaces.
Envicoat® creates a transparent yet durable molecular structural bond that is hydrophobic in performance. Its unique properties repel moisture and prevent the adherence of foreign particulates. it will not crack, chip, peel or discolor.
The use of architectural materials (flat glass, etched glass, natural polished stone, and polished metal) for exterior and interior design, demand a higher level of maintenance. These materials have microscopic surface pores which tend to collect contaminants.
Envicoat® can be used safely on all glass surfaces, mirrors, non-ferrous metals, porcelain, fiberglass, non-vitreous tiles and most plastic materials. Envicoat® may also be used on polished natural stone surfaces, but careful consideration must be given to the possible effects of it forming a moisture barrier.
Envicoat® is chemically compatible with nearly all anodized, siliconized, epoxy enamel, polyurethane and fluoropolymer coatings.
